Hi everyone!
Arteza recently sent me their new 64-slot Pencil Case. This pencil case costs about $18.99 and is about 9" wide, 11" tall and 3" thick when fully filled. It has a handle, a front pocket, and a zippered main compartment with 8 sections containing elastic band slots. The material and stitching looks well made, strong and sturdy. The pencil case is available in 2 designs: Black and White and a colourful one called Paint Splatter.
The handle is well designed and padded which felt comfortable on the hands whilst carrying the case. There are 64 elastic slots in total. The slots are big enough to use for a large marker or a tube of paint but tight enough for a single pencil. I was able to fill the case with 120 coloured pencils, some fine liners, tubes of paint, water brushes and markers without making the whole case look bulky or hard to close. I have used 3 pencils in 1 elastic slot and have inserted and removed the pencils a lot of times as I was using them. I noticed that a few elastic slots have become a bit loose/stretched but it was still able to hold 1 pencil loosely. I wonder if the bands are strong enough to last, but only time will tell. The stitching between the bands is strong and I'm not worried about them coming undone with use.
I like how this pencil case can store a lot of my art supplies and this is perfect for travelling or just organizing your stuff in one place. The case, when empty, doesn't weigh that much as well so it won't be too heavy when filled up with your favourite art supplies. The back and front covers are well padded and stiff, protecting the insides very well. The sides with the zipper are a bit flimsy making it hard to zip up the case sometimes as it gets stuck in between the sections. In conclusion, I can say that Arteza's new 64-slot pencil case is great for organizing and keeping your art materials when on the move. It is well made, sturdy and affordable. Here are my pros and cons for this product:
Pros
- Well made and sturdy.
- Big capacity for keeping my art materials.
- Wide elastic slots.
- Can also be use to organize other stuff such as make up or craft.
Cons
- Elastic bands get a bit loose with use.
